Fold Formed Feather Pendant - Rustic Oxidized Patina - Unisex Feather Necklace

A feather pendant designed for women or men. I made this using a technique known as fold forming with recycled copper. The metal is textured by heating and rolling in a rolling mill. After heating again it's folded, hammered and sawn by hand to a feather shape. Then after heating a third time, the feather is opened. All of the heating in necessary to make the copper pliable. It is then filed smooth and a dark patina applied. It arrives on a sterling silver box chain and you may choose your length at checkout.  34mm long x 10mm wide (approx 1 1/4" long).  Store this in a plastic bag when not in use and wipe occasionally with a polish cloth to clean the highlights. Great with your favorite jeans!
